Back In The Saddle

So I am beyond excited to be roping and riding on a regular basis again. This weekend I am entered in the breakaway roping at the Tillamook and Silverdale NPRA rodeos. Words cannot express my enthusiasm for getting to compete again. I have been diligantly practicing my butt off in hopes of not making a fool of myself. :) This summer will be the first year in almost 3 years that I have roped on a regular basis and this weekend will be the first time I have entered the breakaway roping in nearly 5 years!! My how time goes by! I will definately keep updating how things are going throughout the summer and if I am getting any of my skill back and winning. :)

One Hundred Years of Solitude

I just finally finished reading One Hundred Years of Solitude this weeked. I started it ib mid May. Overall I would say that its a good book...but a bit slow to get in to. The last paragraph was a perfect ending. The author was incredible at describing everything to make you think that you actually were a Buendia living in Macondo. I would give it 3.5 stars.

I have a blog! Yay! I don't know that I really have anything interesting to put out there but I will give it a shot. Hey, maybe this will be inspiration for me to start doing more. :)
